Yesterday was my 8 weeks appt!! Brockstar Quatro has a healthy heartbeat and is progressing very nicely. The doctor says I've lost 6lbs and that I was a little dehydrated... I told her that I've had some pretty serious morning sickness so she up'd my Zofran and gave me some really good tips about suppressing the morning sickness. I got my blood work done, but hadn't really thought about how much they were going to take... I was REALLY sick yesterday and hadn't been able to eat anything... so by the 8th vial of blood I was seeing double.... when they were done I stumbled down to the Subway on the first floor and bought a Sprite.... MIRACLE DRINK!!!!! It got my blood sugar back up AND quelled the nausea I was feeling... needless to say I went and bought a 12 pack and a 12 pack of ginger ale.
Doc says that at 8 weeks if the baby has a healthy heartbeat then there's only a 3% chance of miscarriage so I'm feeling pretty good right now. I broke the news on FB last night... got a lot of positive replies... :-D I'm excited!!
I told you they took a lot of blood. :p I am so excited for you guys!!!!
